Tata Power Renewable Energy commissions 2 Solar Projects in Uttar Pradesh

Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited, a subsidiary of Tata Industries, has commissioned two solar power projects of 50 MW each in Uttar Pradesh. TPREL has commissioned solar projects in Prayagraj and Banda.

The projects have been completed by TPREL within the time limit despite the COVID-19 challenges. The plants are expected to produce over 221.26 million units annually. Around 1,59,600 modules were used in the project at Prayagraj and the installation is expected to reduce carbon emissions by 91,137 lakh tonnes every year. In Banda, 1,67,440 modules were used on 236 acres of land.
