T-series set to start its journey on OTT platforms

Asia’s biggest music label T-Series has announced that they will produce content for OTT platforms. The label headed by Bhushan Kumar will likely produce web series for video streaming platforms. Till now the business of T-series was mostly limited to music and films, and this decision is clearly indicating the company is looking to expand its dimensions in the entertainment industry. On the other hand, it also signifies the growing popularity of streaming platforms such as Netflix, Amazon’s Prime Video, Disney+ Hotstar to name a few. The company stated that it emphasizes creating content on different genres that will appeal to people from all walks of life. With this expansion, the company aims to diversify the services they offer and to acquire a major stake in the OTT market.
