Sudarshan Venu takes over as Managing Director of TVS Motor Co

One of the leading two-wheeler manufacturers in India, TVS Motors,

recently informed that Sudarshan Venu took over as the Managing Director of TVS Motor Company on Thursday. Prior to being appointed as the MD of the two-wheeler maker, Sudarshan Venu was the Joint Managing Director of TVS Motor Company.

TVS Motors, in a statement, told that on Thursday, the board of directors of TVS Motors at its meeting held on Thursday approved the appointment of Sudarshan Venu as Managing Director of the Company, effective today.

After the appointment of Sudarshan Venu as the MD, Venu Srinivasan, Chairman Emeritus, TVS Motor Company, said, "Sudarshan's extraordinary efforts have witnessed key decisions to develop aspirational products and grow fast in India and overseas. He has also led some key acquisitions and the expansion of group companies. We are confident that under his leadership, TVS Motor will transform into a leading mobility player globally".

The popular two-wheeler company further emphasized that Sudarshan has played an important role in the growth of TVS Motors in India and key international markets, including Asia, Africa, and Europe.
