News Synopsis

SpaceX has successfully launched a NASA satellite named Falcon 9 rocket into orbit to study black holes and dead stars. The spacecraft is developed by NASA in collaboration with an Italian Space Agency, which includes three telescopes to measure the polarization of X rays from high-energy celestial bodies.

The satellite was launched from NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida on Thursday. SpaceX is continuously engaged with NASA. Previously the space exploration technologies company has collaborated with NASA for two fully crewed astronaut missions to the International Space Station. The company was also rewarded with a $2.9 billion contract by NASA in April for its return to the moon mission.
