Shriram Automall India inks pact with IIT-Delhi

On Tuesday, one of the leading pre-owned vehicles and equipment marketplaces in India,  Shriram Automall India Ltd informed that it has signed a pact with Yardi School of Artificial Intelligence of IIT Delhi to boost its in-house developed pre-owned vehicle valuation platform called ThePriceX. Shriram Automall India in a statement said that with this exclusive agreement, the IIT-Delhi team will assist company with their expertise to enhance the accuracy of ThePriceX.

ThePriceX helps in predicting the value of pre-owned vehicles from any source and geography, real-time, via statistical modeling, machine learning, and other complex artificial intelligence algorithms. It further stated that Shriram Automall India Ltd (SAMIL) will offer its rich and extensive expertise on pricing and valuation data of pre-owned vehicles and equipment.

SAMIL Director and CEO Sameer Malhotra said with the strategic collaboration with IIT Delhi, its technology team will work together on boosting the already advanced pre-owned vehicle price prediction tool ThePriceX. SAMIL further stated that its ThePriceX which is an advanced price prediction engine is already being used by leading banks, insurance companies, NBFCs as well as OEMs.
