News Synopsis

Shiprocket, the logistics technology platform has announced the acquisition of Rocketbox. After the acquisition, the Rocketbox founder will join the Shiprocket leadership team and will continue to build the cargo product under the deal.

Rocketbox aims to improve its service quality with its dedicated customer support, transparent SLAs and ease out the bookings for bulk shipment. Rocketbox is an intracity, on-demand truck provider and aggregates with more than 5,000 drivers on its platform. It was founded in June 2015. 

The CEO and co-founder of Rocketbox, Raghav Singhania has said that the company looks forward to reaching new heights with Shiprocker in this journey together. 

Shiprocket was launched in 2017 and is backed by Zomato, Tribe Impact Capital, March Capital, PayPal Ventures, Info Edge Ventures, Lightrock and Bertelsmann India Investments.
