News Synopsis

A ship called Felicity Ace caught fire while it was traveling from Germany’s Emden to the Volkswagen factory in Davisville, Rhode Island, near the coast of Portugal. It has been reported that the ship is carrying 3,965 vehicles including Bentleys, Audis, and Lamborghinis. The crew was rescued by the Portuguese Navy. The navy informed that the fire broke out on Wednesday and 22 crew members were rescued and no one is said to be injured. Along with the Navy, the Portuguese Air Force and other merchant ships also helped in the evacuation. In a statement released later, the Navy said: "The owner of the ship Felicity Ace is in contact with the logistic agent in order to draw up a plan for the towing of the ship. So far, no source of pollution has been recorded."
