News Synopsis

The Shiba Inu team has banned an individual from its newly launched Metaverse for spreading hatred. The user's wallet address has been added to the network's blacklist for drawing a Swastika symbol in the Shiba Inu Metaverse.

The symbol was later removed for the metaverse. The developers of the metaverse shared the news on Twitter with a link to the guidelines page of SHIB’s metaverse.

The incident happened on April 20th, the day observed as Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler's birthday. He was responsible for the two world's greatest tragedies, World War II and the Holocaust, killing millions in the west. Hitler used the slightly tilted depiction of the swastika as his symbol.

In early March, Shiba Inu developers announced that a total of 100,595 virtual land plots would be put up for sale in the Metaverse, some of which would remain private and used as shared terrain for roads, junctions, boulevards, etc. The Shiba Inu community has also promised to give out financial rewards to those choosing to buy lands in its metaverse.

On the same day, Crypto Exchange Binance ran into Hitler-related issues after releasing an emoji that resembled a swastika symbol. After facing a backlash on social media, the crypto exchange apologized for its rather "embarrassing" misjudgment.
