Schlumberger wins Gas Drilling Project of Saudi Aramco

Schlumberger has announced a major contract award by Saudi Aramco for integrated drilling and well construction services in a gas drilling project.

The scope of the integrated project includes drilling rigs and technologies and services such as drill bits, measurement while drilling (MWD), logging while drilling (LWD), drilling fluids, cement, and completing wells. Schlumberger leverages digital solutions to execute digital drilling plans using data analysis, learning systems and automation to integrate DrillOps, an on-target well delivery solution that improves drilling efficiency, consistency and performance. 

This award represents an important verification of Schlumberger's fit-for-basin technology and expertise in gas well development in the region.
