News Synopsis

Samsung Galaxy S22 series smartphones such as the S22+ and S22 Ultra have become the world's first phones to support Voice over 5G (Vo5G). Kuwait's mobile operator Zain recently announced the launch of the first Voiceover 5G service, which is only supported on the Galaxy S22 smartphone series.

5G Internet services have become a new standard, but 5G voice calls are still quite rare. In fact, Zain is the world's first carrier to launch a nationwide Vo5G service in Kuwait (Via Telecompaper). However, this service is only available to customers who own one of the new Samsung Galaxy S22 smartphones. It will soon reach other 5G phones.

According to Zain, the commercial launch of the service will follow a thorough test to determine the network's readiness and technical capabilities to provide the service at the highest level in the country.

In addition, Samsung became a major tablet vendor in the Indian tablet market in the first quarter until March 2022. The company's sales have increased significantly. It accounted for 40% of total tablet shipments in India this quarter.
