S. Jaishankar Will Meet Foreign Ministers of Many Countries Today in G 20 Meeting

External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar will participate in the meeting of foreign ministers of G-20 G-20 countries in Indonesia today. The preparations for the upcoming summit meeting of this group will be finalized in this meeting. The Foreign Ministers of Russia and China are also expected to attend. Let us tell you that for the first time after the Ukraine-Russia war, the foreign ministers of China and Russia will also be involved in an international forum along with America and Western countries.

In this meeting, External Affairs Minister Jaishankar is expected to have bilateral meetings with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in Bali. In the meeting with Sergei, there is a possibility of discussion about the upcoming annual meeting of PM Narendra Modi and President Vladimir Putin. Along with this, Jaishankar is likely to have separate special discussions with US Secretary of State Antoine Blinken, besides the Foreign Ministers of France and Indonesia.

In this regard, it has been told by the Ministry of External Affairs that in the upcoming meeting, besides the current global challenges, issues related to the food and energy crisis will be discussed between the foreign ministers. India is extending its full support to Indonesia for the successful conduct of this meeting and hopes that next year's meeting will help in finding a meaningful solution to the current global challenges.
