RRR Crosses Rs 500 Crore Mark

SS Rajamouli directed RRR has been shattering records since its launch on the big screen in the country. The craze for the RRR which stars Ram Charan and Jr NTR in lead roles is unmatched and unparalleled. According to the trade analyst, Taran Adarsh, the film has made its way into the Rs. 500 crore club in just three days. He tweeted: "#RRR is setting new benchmarks..Rs 500 cr [and counting]... Worldwide GBOC *opening weekend* biz... Extraordinary Monday on the cards... #SSRajamouli brings back the glory of Indian Cinema. Note: Non-holiday release. Pandemic era." The film on the very first day of its launch became the highest opener ever in the history of Indian cinema as it earned Rs 223 crore worldwide. The previous record was held by  'Baahubali 2' directed by SS Rajamouli. It earned Rs. 217 crore on its first day. The film was launched on March 25th and it is claimed to be one of the biggest films made in the history of Indian cinema. The film also stars Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, and Olivia Morris in key roles.
