Robinhood Introduces New Feature to Gift Cryptocurrencies

Robinhood, the zero-commission trading app has confirmed the launch of its new feature in which it will allow its users to gift cryptocurrencies to others. The gift coupon will be available to the users and once the user receives it, they will have 14 days to accept the gift card in the application only. If the receiver is new, he/she will have to download the application and log into it to claim the gift. 

The gifts can be as small as $1 and are also available in seven currencies including Bitcoin, Ether, and Dogecoin. Crypto Chief Operating Officer, Christine Brown has said that they are planning to remove the emotional and economic barrier among their friends and family, making it their first step into crypto.

The service will start on December 22, and the users will be able to share digital gift cards along with written messages. It is not yet available in Nevada and Hawaii due to some reasons.
