Reliance Jio Joins OnePlus To Create An Indian "True 5G" Tech Ecosystem

On Monday, Reliance Jio partnered with the leading global technology company OnePlus to introduce the country to the evolving stand-alone 5G technology ecosystem.

All of the OnePlus 5G devices will be powered by Jio's "True 5G" technology as part of the partnership.

The Jio and OnePlus teams have been aggressively collaborating behind the scenes to enhance their 5G technology offerings throughout the product portfolio and increase user access to the technology.

"The real power of a 5G smartphone can only be unleashed by a True 5G network like Jio, which is built as a Standalone 5G network, the most advanced network of its kind. Jio True 5G will enable hundreds of new and powerful experiences that can be experienced on a leading device like OnePlus," President of Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd. Sunil Dutt remarked.

The most recent OnePlus 10 Series, OnePlus 9R, OnePlus 8 Series, as well as the Nord, Nord 2T, Nord 2, Nord CE, Nord CE 2 and Nord CE 2 Lite, are OnePlus devices that can access the Jio True 5G network.

The company also announced that the OnePlus 9 Pro, OnePlus 9, and OnePlus 9RT will soon be able to access the Jio True 5G network.

Users will benefit from a seamless, fast internet experience due to 5G technology, and they will use their smartphones more frequently than they ever thought possible, according to OnePlus India CEO and Head of India region Navnit Nakra.

Customers can receive cashback advantages worth Rs 10,800 during the OnePlus anniversary sale period from December 13 to December 18, which is available to qualified OnePlus and Jio 5G users.

In India, OnePlus has been the market leader for 5G smartphones in both the Rs 20,000–Rs 30,000 pricing range and the budget luxury sector (Rs 30,000–Rs 45,000).
