Ramayana Advance Booking Nears ₹20 Crore in India, Overseas Sales Cross $3.45 Million

Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana Part 1, featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Yash in leading roles, is generating considerable interest ahead of its theatrical release on November 5. The film has recorded encouraging advance ticket sales in India and international markets.

According to Sacnilk, domestic opening-day advance bookings have reached ₹19.61 crore, while overseas pre-sales have crossed an estimated $3.45 million. The Hindi-language version is driving most of the domestic demand, and North America has emerged as the film's strongest international market.

Ramayana India Advance Booking Collection

The film has recorded ₹19.61 crore in opening-day advance bookings across India, according to Sacnilk. After excluding blocked seats, the collection stands at ₹16.31 crore.

Around 4.01 lakh tickets have been sold across approximately 9,050 shows nationwide. These figures indicate strong audience interest before the film's scheduled release.

Karnataka and Maharashtra Lead State-Wise Pre-Sales

Karnataka is currently the leading state in terms of opening-day advance booking collections, with sales of ₹3.89 crore. Maharashtra follows closely with ₹3.85 crore, while Delhi has contributed ₹2.65 crore.

The figures highlight substantial demand across several major film markets in India.

Hindi Version Accounts for Nearly 83% of Domestic Bookings

The Hindi version has generated the largest share of the film's domestic advance sales, contributing ₹16.28 crore. This represents nearly 83% of the total opening-day pre-release collection.

The language-wise advance booking figures are:

Language

Advance booking collection

Hindi

₹16.28 crore

Kannada

₹2.56 crore

Telugu

₹67.10 lakh

Tamil

₹10.51 lakh

The figures show that Hindi-speaking audiences are currently driving the majority of the film's opening-day ticket sales.

Ramayana Overseas Advance Bookings Cross $3.45 Million

Ramayana is also attracting significant interest in international markets. According to Films Discourse, the film's overseas advance bookings across all show dates had reached approximately $3.45 million as of October 30.

North America is the biggest contributor, with estimated advance ticket sales of $2.58 million across the United States and Canada.

The UK and Ireland have recorded approximately $351,200 in pre-sales, while Australia and New Zealand have contributed around $313,000.

North America Emerges as the Biggest Overseas Market

The international booking figures indicate that North America is leading overseas demand by a considerable margin. Reports citing Sacnilk estimate the film's overseas advance booking collection at ₹27.03 crore, including approximately ₹20 crore from North America.

Advance bookings in the Middle East have not yet opened, meaning the overseas figures could change as additional markets begin selling tickets.

Five-Day Opening Weekend Advance Booking Estimate

A separate estimate from Films Discourse places the film's total advance bookings for its extended five-day opening weekend at approximately ₹40 crore.

However, the collection excluding blocked seats is estimated at ₹22.11 crore. These figures cover a different booking period and should be distinguished from the opening-day domestic pre-sales.
