According to the news, the prices of commercial LPG cylinders have been cut. The cost of LPG cylinders for commercial usage has been decreased by Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs). Oil Marketing Companies reportedly reduced the price of 19-kg commercial LPG cylinders by Rs 91.50. Starting, September 1, 2022, the price will be reduced. Whereas, there has been no reduction in the prices of domestic cylinders.

From September 1, the price of a 19 kg commercial cylinder of Indane in Delhi has been reduced by Rs 91.50, in Kolkata by Rs 100, in Mumbai by Rs 92.50, in Chennai by Rs 96. People will get 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinders at old prices only. The gas companies of the country fix the price of gas cylinders on the first of every month.

On August 1, the prices of commercial cylinders were reduced by Rs 36. Commercial LPG gas is mostly used in hotels, food shops, etc. This will give them a big relief from the reduction in prices. This is the fourth consecutive month that commercial gas prices have come down.

Whereas on April 1, the price of this cylinder was increased by Rs 249.50. At the same time, the price of domestic cylinders in the country has not been reduced since July. Domestic cylinder is available for Rs 1053 in Delhi, Rs 1079 in Kolkata, Rs 1052 in Mumbai and Rs 1068 in Chennai. At the same time, Indane's commercial LPG cylinder will be available in Delhi for Rs 1885 instead of 1976.50 for 19 kg. In Kolkata, Rs 1995.5, in Mumbai Rs 1844 and in Chennai LPG cylinder will be available for Rs 2045.
