Prime Minister Modi will also inaugurate the Indian Urban Housing Conclave-2022 and will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of several important projects in Rajkot. The seven new defense companies, which were formed from the former Ordnance Factory Board, are also celebrating their first-anniversary at DefExpo 2022.

These companies will all be taking part in DefExpo for the first time. Nearly twice as many MoUs, agreements for the transfer of technology, and product launches as in the last iteration are expected during the Bandhan ceremony on October 20.
