Patents Reveal Samsung Phone with Foldable and Rollable Designs

Samsung's new patents are hinting towards a new Samsung device that could be both foldable and rollable. The patents are titled, “electronic device capable of folding and sliding operations”, describing a device that has a foldable display in every possible way. The new device can fold on one side and would be capable of sliding out as well. It will be triggered for specific actions such as giving a wider screen for content consumption, gaming, and other things.

Along with this, the company is also planning to launch next-gen Fold4 around quarter 3 of 2022, which will have an improved under-display camera on both internal and external screens. It is also expected to come with a hinge that will lead to a weight reduction of the device with water and dust resistance.
