News Synopsis

NordVPN has also announced the server removal regarding VPN's new laws in India. NordVPN and Private Internet Access (PIA) has also announced the removal of its physical servers from the Indian market

Both these companies have removed their server from India in protest against the new law of the Government of India regarding VPNs. The government has said in one of its decisions that VPN companies will have to keep the data of users safe for five years and give it to the authorities if needed.

Major VPN companies have objected to this decision of the government. NordVPN had already said that if the government does not change its decisions or no other option gives second choice, then they will be forced to cover their business with the Indian market

Earlier, Surfshaark and ExpressVPN have announced the closure of their services in India. It is worth noting that the new law regarding VPNs will be effective from June 28. It is important to note that the closure of the physical server from India does not mean that the service will stop.

NordVPN users will be able to take advantage of its services with a new IP address. In fact, like other companies, NordVPN will also use the virtual server and Indian users will get an Indian IP address.
