News Synopsis

Neobanking start-up Niyo has raised $100 million in its series C funding round led by Accel and Lightrock India along with the participation of existing investors and others. The total valuation of the company is not disclosed yet. The company is planning to use the funds for product innovation,  marketing, and branding,  increasing the distribution footprint.  The startup is also looking ahead to provide comprehensive financial services to more than 30 million users with both organic and inorganic expansion over time making banking a delightful experience. The company offers digital saving accounts and other banking services in partnership with different banks. It serves around 4 million customers across its banking and wealth management products with more than 10,000 new users added daily to its platform.
