According to a report shared by NITI Aayog, India will have 600 GWh of battery storage capacity by the end of this decade. The report further states that, "Based on our analysis, the total cumulative capacity of battery storage in India will be 600 GWh by 2030, given the base case scenario and the adoption of battery storage in India for EV and consumer electronics."
