New video shows the latest redesign of Tesla’s prototype Cybertruck

A new leaked video of a Tesla factory has revealed the latest prototype of the upcoming Cybertruck. The video shows the closest view of the side-view mirrors and large windshield wipers that were added to the design to follow the USA road safety rules.

Elon Musk tweeted back in December saying that the wiper is what troubles him the most and also said that the deployable wipers that stow in the front trunk would be ideal but complex.

The video shows a person expressing his doubts about the single wiper blade being able to clear the whole windscreen and spotting the place where it arches back. The video also shows the side view mirrors that are mandated to be on all new vehicles according to Elon Musk’s tweet.

Cybertruck does not have any visible handle on any of the doors and it appears to require a phone or proximity keycard to access the vehicle. The person in the video also describes how the rear of the truck will lower at the press of a button. It will enable the tailgate to become a ramp for loading heavier items like a four-wheeler.
