Netflix is the latest Tech Company to pull service in Russia

Netflix has joined the growing list of companies suspending their business in Russia. Prior to this, Meta, Google, Twitter, Apple and many other major global companies have pulled their services from the country after the invasion of Ukraine.

The streaming giant announced that it would withdraw its business from Russia in response to its invasion of Ukraine. Earlier this week, Netflix announced that the platform has stopped all the acquisition and future projects in the country along with removing the state-owned media outlets from its site. 

A Netflix spokesperson has said that the company has decided to suspend its services in Russia given the circumstances in Ukraine and Russia. 

Netflix announced that has announced that it will temporarily disconnect its ties with Russia. Other than Netflix Zara, LVMH, TikTok, Visa and American Express have also announced the suspension of their services in Russia.
