Naomi Osaka Signs up to FTX's Sports Selebrity Roster

In a bid to diversify its sports celebrity marketing, cryptocurrency exchange platform FTX has signed Tennis Star Naomi Osaka. This has been done to bring more women on their platform. On Monday, FTX said that Naomi Osaka will receive an equity stake in FTX Trading and will be compensated in crypto for her role as ambassador. However, the cryptocurrency exchange did not disclose any further details. Sam Bankman-Fried, Chief Executive Officer of FTX said: "Our partnership with Naomi Osaka will further our goal of getting more diverse voices involved in the future of digital currency and Web3." Osaka is one of the first major female professional sports stars to partner with FTX. She said that Boosting opportunities for women in crypto markets is one of the reasons she signed up with FTX. She said: "We have seen the statistics about how few women are part of crypto by comparison, which kind of mirrors the inequality we see in other financial markets."
