Narendra Modi Wishes Quick Recovery to Barack Obama

Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi has wished that former US President Barack Obama, who tested positive for COVID 19, would recover quickly on Monday. He tweeted, “My best wishes @BarackObama for your quick recovery from COVID-19, and for your family’s good health and well being.” 

The former president of the United States of America, Barack Obama has been tested positive for covid-19. Barack Obama shared the news on Twitter saying, “I have had a scratchy throat for a while, but I am feeling fine otherwise,” adding that the former first lady and his children have tested negative.

Barack Obama also said that his positive test was a reminder to get vaccinated as soon as you can, even as cases go down. The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention say more than 80% of all people ages five and older in the USA have had at least one Covid 19 vaccine dose.

According to CDC, the daily case counts in the USA has also fallen sharply, with an average of around 35,000 cases per day in mid-March compared to a peak of an average of 810,000 cases per day in mid-January.
