Following reports of an outage in India and several other countries on Tuesday evening, Facebook and Instagram services were restored. On these two social networking sites, users have expressed dissatisfaction about difficulties logging in.

On Facebook and Instagram, they had both logged out. Instagram page refreshes proved to be impossible for some. A lot of individuals were also prompted to reset their passwords. A similar problem soon began to affect users of YouTube as well.

The organization is aware of the problems that users are having all around the world, According to Meta spokesman Andy Stone, and it is striving to find a solution.

The global outage that customers were experiencing was depicted by a surge in graphs on the DownDetector website.

The outage monitoring service reports that the outage in India began at about 8:30 p.m.

According to the website, at least 14,857 individuals reported issues with Facebook, while 32,518 users reported issues with Instagram.

The DownDetector map revealed that several cities, including Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Ahmedabad, were experiencing outages.

The website also said that there were disruptions occurring not only in India but in a number of other nations, such as the US, the UK, Australia, and Brazil. Facebook users in Nepal have also expressed dissatisfaction over their inability to utilize Facebook and Facebook Messenger.

Amidst the widespread outage of major Social networking sites like Facebook and Instagram, many users also reported difficulties accessing the Microblogging service X, owned by Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla.

This added to the frustration of users already grappling with the disruption, highlighting the impact of the outage across various platforms and services.

Meanwhile, the CEO of Tesla made a subtle jab at Meta over the worldwide disruptions that have affected its two well-known platforms by stating that the "X" platform's servers were "working."

With his official username, he wrote, "If you're reading this post, it's because our servers are working."

"Earlier today, a technical issue caused people to have difficulty accessing some of our services," Stone tweeted after the services were restored, expressing regret. We apologize for any difficulty caused, and we fixed the problem as soon as we could for everyone who was affected.
