Mercedes-Maybach S-Class Launched

German luxury automobile maker- Mercedes Benz has launched its flagship luxury offering- Mercedes Maybach S-Class. Mercedes S-Class has established itself as the synonym of luxury in the world. Couple it with Maybach, it just takes the comfort and luxury to an all new different level. The German brand has introduced two variants of the Maybach S-Class. The locally manufactured S580 4Matic comes at a price tag of Rs. 2.5 crores. Fully imported S680 4Matic is priced at Rs. 3.2 crore. These are cars are famously known for their ‘magical carpet ride’. The S580 is powered by a twin-turbocharged 4.0-litre V8. It churns out 503bhp of horsepower and 700nm of torque. It comes along with EQ boost mild hybrid technology. It can do 0 to 100 kmph in 4.8 seconds. The imported variant S680 draws its power from a twin-turbocharged 6.0-litre V12 motor that is completely built by hand. It produces 612 horsepower and an earth moving torque of 900 Nm. Both the engines are paired to a 9-speed automatic gearbox for butter smooth gear shifts. Both the cars come in an all wheel drive configuration and also feature the famous rear wheel steering.
