MatchLog raises $3 Million in pre-series-A Round

The container logistics optimisation platform, MatchLog has raised $3 million in its pre-series A round from Blue Ashva Capital, Rainmatter Climate, and Climate-A. The raised funds will be used to develop the tech platform further for AI and machine learning-based pairing of cargo across India. 

MatchLog is the first Indian company to offer at scale the ability to turn around a container from an import to export cycle. It eliminates unnecessary empty runs to container yards. The company claims that the work results in significant fuel savings and directly contribute to the decarbonisation goals of the shipping industry.

It will also plan to grow the multi-model share in addition to road transport and expand the reach to different parts of India and all around the world. MatchLog claims to have saved 1 m + kgs of carbon emission in 2021.
