Maruti Suzuki Fronx S-CNG Price and Variants

Maruti Suzuki, India's leading carmaker, has expanded its CNG lineup with the introduction of the Fronx S-CNG, a CNG variant of its popular sub-compact SUV. Priced at Rs 8.42 lakh (ex-showroom), the Fronx S-CNG is the company's 15th CNG model available in the Indian market. Bookings for the Fronx S-CNG are now open, and deliveries will commence shortly.

Maruti Suzuki Fronx S-CNG: Variant-wise prices

The Maruti Suzuki Fronx S-CNG is available in two variants: Sigma and Delta. The ex-showroom prices for these variants range from Rs 8.42 lakh to Rs 9.28 lakh. Customers opting for the CNG versions will have to pay a premium of Rs 95,000 over the corresponding petrol manual variants.

It's important to note that the petrol version of the Fronx is priced between Rs 7.47 lakh and Rs 13.14 lakh (ex-showroom).

Fronx S-CNG: Powertrain and Mileage

Under the hood, the Maruti Fronx S-CNG features a 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated bi-fuel petrol engine. In petrol mode, the engine generates 88.5 bhp of power and 113 Nm of torque. However, when running on CNG, the power output decreases to 76.5 bhp and the torque output to 98.5 Nm.

The engine is paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. Maruti Suzuki claims that the Fronx S-CNG delivers an impressive mileage of 28.51 km/kg.
