News Synopsis

Maruti Suzuki India Ltd,

the country's largest car manufacturer is planning to build its third factory in Haryana with an investment of Rs 18,000 crore, which will help the auto industry grow. In Haryana, the company already has two manufacturing sites. The new plant will have a production capacity of 250,000 vehicles per year and is scheduled to open in 2025.

Haryana has made rapid progress in numerous areas, including industrial growth, in recent years under the leadership of

Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar,

according to an official statement released on Tuesday.

Haryana is well on its path to achieving inclusive growth, thanks to the government's strong dedication to public welfare and providing sophisticated services to its residents. Similarly, the administration is working hard to turn the state into an industrial and car centre. The fact that Maruti Suzuki is establishing its third facility in the state demonstrates the state's growing vehicle industry.

At a ceremony on May 19 in Gurugram, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd, Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Ltd, and Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (HSIIDC) will sign agreements for the allotment of 800-acre and 100-acre property at IMT Kharkhoda, respectively.
