Mahindra has experienced a resurgence in popularity following the launches of the second-generation Mahindra Thar, the XUV700, and the Scorpio N.

The XUV700, in particular, has seen tremendous success, with waiting periods ranging from 18 to 24 months. Launched in 2001, Mahindra has produced 200,000 units of this mid-size SUV to date, achieving this milestone in just 33 months.

Celebrating 200,000 Units with New Colors

To commemorate this significant achievement, Mahindra has introduced two new color schemes for the XUV700 lineup: Deep Forest and Burnt Sienna. The Burnt Sienna option is exclusive to the XUV700. These additions bring the total number of paint schemes available for the XUV700 to nine.

Feature-Packed Mahindra XUV700

The Mahindra XUV700 stands out in its segment as one of the most feature-rich SUVs, boasting several class-leading technologies. It features a 26.03 cm twin-screen setup, Alexa Built-In Functionality, and Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).

Other notable features include a 6-way power driver’s seat, a 12-speaker audio system, a panoramic sunroof, memory ORVMs, dual-zone climate control, ventilated front seats, and a 360-degree camera.

Comprehensive Safety Features

In terms of safety, the XUV700 is equipped with up to seven airbags, an electronic stability program (ESP), ISOFIX anchors, and a Tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS).

It is also one of the safest cars in the Indian market, having received a 5-star safety rating from Global NCAP in 2022. The SUV achieved a 5-star rating for adult occupancy and a 4-star rating for child occupancy, underscoring its commitment to safety.

Powertrain Specifications and Pricing

The Mahindra XUV700 offers two engine options: a 2.0-litre mStallion turbo petrol engine and a 2.2-litre mStallion diesel engine. The petrol engine produces 197 bhp and 380 Nm of peak torque, while the diesel engine delivers 182 bhp and 450 Nm of peak torque.

Both engines can be paired with either a six-speed manual or a six-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. Additionally, the top-spec diesel variants come with the option of an all-wheel-drive system.

Mahindra offers the XUV700 in seven variants: MX, AX3, AX5, AX5 Select, AX7, AX7 Luxury, and AX7 Luxury Blaze Edition. Prices for the XUV700 range from Rs 13.99 lakh to Rs 26.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
