Mahindra XUV700 Receives 'Safer Choice' Award From Global NCAP

Veteran vehicle manufacturer Mahindra has achieved great success in terms of safety standards. The company's Mahindra XUV700 has been awarded the 'Safer Choice' award by Global NCAP. 

Global NCAP, a vehicle safety testing agency, has revealed the results of the latest crash test as part of its safer cars for India campaign under its current testing protocol. Mahindra XUV700 SUV which earlier got 5-Star Safety Rating has now been given the 'Safer Choice' award by the agency. Along with this, Global NCAP also revealed that Kia Carens has secured 3 stars for Adult Occupant Protection and 3 stars for Child Occupant Protection. 

The Safer Choice title is awarded only to models that achieve high levels of safety performance and offer Electronic Stability Control (ESC), and United Nations Regulations UN 13H, UN 140, or GTR 8 meet certain, including meeting performance requirements.
