Mahindra Logistics acquires Whizzard

Mahindra Logistics on Monday has announced that it has acquired last-mile delivery services Whizzard. After this acquisition, Mahindra Logistics will enhance its delivery services across the length and breadth of the nation. Rampraveen Swaminathan, MD & CEO, MLL after the acquisition said: "Last-mile delivery and fulfillment continues to see strong tailwinds with increased digital adoption, expanding delivery networks and onset of quick commerce. This association will enhance and strengthen our existing presence for our customers in e-commerce and other segments. We look forward to building the association together and providing customers with integrated solutions." The amount, however at which Mahindra Logistics LTD. acquired Whizzard has not been disclosed yet. Whizzard currently delivers to 3,000 pin codes in the country and has grown ten times in the last three years.  Co-founders of Whizzard, Ankit Mandhania, and Arun Rao, after the deal in a statement, said: "Mahindra Logistics with a large customer base has significant strategic advantage for a last-mile delivery company like us.
