News Synopsis

Home interior and renovation company, Livspace has become the fourth Indian Startup to turn into a unicorn this year. The company raised $180 billion n its recent funding round led by KKR & Co. Ikea, Jungle Ventures, Venturi Partners and Peugeot participated in this funding round. 

Livspace plans to use the raised capital to double down its expansion in the international market and take on local competitors like HomeLane, Stokers, At Home Group, Pepperfry and American Furniture Warehouse

The CEO and co-founder of Livspace, Anuj Srivastava has said that the business growing exponentially in both India and Singapore. It aims to replicate this playbook, launch new solutions and accelerate our launches across new markets with operations across APAC, MENA and Australia. Livspace is the fourth Indian startup to turn into a unicorn in 2022 after Fractal, LeadSchool and Darwinbox.
