Kotak Mahindra Bank (KMBL) has announced the launch of ‘Hausla Talks,’ a dedicated platform to share real-life stories of ambition, courage, and success. This initiative aligns with Kotak’s brand philosophy, ‘Hausla Hai Toh Ho Jayega,’ highlighting its commitment to being the financial partner for the Aspirational Indian.

Kotak’s Vision Behind Hausla Talks

As a challenger brand in India’s Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sector, Kotak has always emphasized dreaming big and acting with confidence. The ‘Hausla Talks’ platform aims to showcase inspiring individuals—including Kotak customers and employees—who have dared to overcome adversities and emerge victorious in their respective fields.

Celebrating Resilience and Success Stories

The inaugural episode of ‘Hausla Talks’ features the inspiring journey of Swati Bedekar, the first Hausla Hero, who broke social and economic barriers to launch the Sakhi Project. This initiative provides biodegradable, low-cost sanitary napkins to rural women, significantly impacting menstrual hygiene awareness and accessibility.

Subsequent episodes will showcase two more remarkable individuals:

  • Sirisha Raju – A woman who defied the limitations of small-town upbringing to achieve her dream of becoming a pilot.

  • Kaamya Karthikeyan – A young girl who overcame financial constraints to become the youngest female to complete the Seven Summits Challenge in 2024, demonstrating endurance, patience, and determination.

A Commitment to Empowering Aspirational Indians

Kedarswamy Ravangave, Executive Vice President – Marketing, Kotak Mahindra Bank, emphasized the purpose of ‘Hausla Talks’:

“At Kotak, we believe that ambition, when met with the right support, can create extraordinary success stories. ‘Hausla Talks’ is a testament to that belief—spotlighting individuals who dared to dream big and had the resilience to turn those dreams into reality. Through this platform, we aim to fuel India’s unstoppable spirit, reaffirming our commitment to being the financial partner that empowers ambition at every stage.”

Impact and Future of Hausla Talks

‘Hausla Talks’ is more than just a storytelling initiative—it is a movement that reinforces Kotak’s role as a catalyst for India's growth. By bringing forward narratives of perseverance, innovation, and success, Kotak Mahindra Bank is fostering an environment where ambition meets opportunity, ensuring that every aspirational Indian has the financial backing to turn their dreams into reality.
