Kinetic Green expects to achieve Rs. 1000 cr turnover in next fiscal year

Amid the growing demand for Electric Two-wheelers and three-wheelers, Kinetic Green, the electric vehicle division of the Pune-based Kinetic Group is optimistic about its growth in the coming year and it is expecting to achieve a turnover of Rs. 1,000 cr in the next financial year. According to the Chief Executive Officer of the Company Sulajja Firodia Motwani, consumer preference for electric vehicles has tremendously increased. One of the reasons behind the increase of consumer inclination towards the electric vehicle is the incentives offered under the FAME (faster adoption and manufacturing of electric and hybrid vehicles) II policy. Mrs. Motwani in her statement said: “Now they (consumers) feel not only am I going to save on fuel every day, I don’t have to pay a large premium upfront. It has made them think of EVs/ consider them as a product to buy… I am seeing that there is definitely going to be a positive momentum and in FY23. Kinetic Green is aiming to be a Rs 1,000-crore company based on the strength of EVs”. She also said that the company revenue is expected to increase to Rs. 50-60 crore per month in the future due to the increase in demand.
