In a statement earlier this month, the IRCTC said that it had collaborated with Cordelia Cruises, which is operated by Waterways Leisure Tourism, and had signed an agreement for the Marketing and Promotion of the country's first indigenous luxury cruise.

In cooperation with the private business Cordelia Cruises, the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation will launch the country's first indigenous cruise ship on Saturday. As soon as the Coronavirus disease returns to normal and international cruises can resume their regular operations, bookings may be made through the IRCTC website, according to the PTI News Agency. The indigenous cruise, a kind of luxury travel, will transport Passengers to some of the Most Popular Tourist Locations in India and beyond, like Goa, Diu, Kochi, the Lakshadweep Islands, and Sri Lanka.

One of India's top cruise lines, Cordelia Cruises, aims to advance Indian cruise culture through "stylish, luxurious, and most importantly, inherently Indian" experiences. The first indigenous luxury cruise in India will be marketed and promoted by Cordelia Cruises, which is run by Waterways Leisure Tourism, according to a statement released by the IRCTC earlier this month.

In the first phase, the IRCTC cruise ship, which has a base in Mumbai and visits tourist spots like Goa, Diu, Lakshadweep, Kochi, and Sri Lanka, will allow its passengers to sail to Indian locations.

The second phase of the cruise, starting in May 2022, would see the ship departing from Chennai and going to Sri Lankan ports including Colombo, Galle, Trincomalee, and Jaffna.

Cordelia Cruises has luxurious accommodations amenities for their members like cinemas, Spots, pools, bars, beautiful gardens.
