Unlike earlier hints buried in the app’s code, this version includes a working interface that allows users to add and switch between accounts directly in the app’s settings. This confirms that WhatsApp has moved from internal development to real-world testing.

New account-switching UI Rolling Out to Testers

Depending on the rollout stage, testers may see one of two interface designs. Some users report a brand-new “Account List” section under Settings, while others see a dedicated button placed beside the profile QR code. Both placements allow users to seamlessly add another WhatsApp account without using a secondary device or the WhatsApp Business app.

Flexible Setup Options for Multiple Accounts

Although the feature currently supports only two accounts per device, WhatsApp has made the setup process very flexible. Beta users can:
