IndiGo starts Indore-Jammu Direct Flight Service

On Monday, in a bid to enhance regional air connectivity, the Leading airline company in India- Indigo airlines has started a direct flight between Indore and Jammu. The direct flight service was inaugurated by the Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia. The airline carrier informed that this new route from Indore is a part of the airline’s strategy to boost connectivity to central India. At the launch of the new flight route, Chief Strategy and Revenue Officer of Indigo, Sanjay Kumar said: "Direct connectivity from Indore, the largest city in Madhya Pradesh, to Jammu which is one of India's most popular destinations for pilgrims and a gateway to Jammu & Kashmir. The new route will cater to the increasing economic and tourism demand of the state. We are committed to providing an affordable, on-time, safe, and hassle-free travel experience, onboard our lean clean flying machine." Currently, the budget carrier operates a total of 632 flights in a week, to and from Madhya Pradesh.
