Indian Streaming Industry expected to grow over the next decade

According to a joint report on media and entertainment, the Indian OTT or streaming industry is expected to grow to $13-15 billion over the next decade at a CAGR of 22-25%. The OTT industry is continuously growing with almost 40 service providers, providing different types of content. 

The users have access to unlimited high speed mobile internet at affordable prices, which resulted in an increase in the use of these streaming or OTT platforms. The cost for the global streaming platforms such as Netflix, Amazon Prime and Disney+ in India is also cheaper if compared to the USA.
