News Synopsis

The Indian stock market broke the chain of gains that had been going on for four days on Thursday morning. Today the business started with a loss and under the pressure of the global market, investors started selling and booking profits today, due to which the Sensex again went down to 59 thousand. In today's trade, investors have become a little cautious after the initial fall, but the sell-off is still going on.

The Sensex opened at 58,824 with a fall of 283 points today and started trading, while the Nifty lost 89 points to open at 17,423 and started trading. Today, the investors were clearly affected by the fall in the global market and this was the reason why the market lost the series of gains that have been going on for four days. However, after the initial fall, investors took a cautious approach but the sell-off continued. Due to this, the Sensex was trading at 58,929 with a loss of 177 points at 9.25 am, while the Nifty is down 64 points and remains at 17,448.

If we look at today's business sector-wise, Nifty Auto, Nifty Metal and Nifty Consumer Durable sectors have suffered the most. In these sectors today, there is a big decline of 1 percent in the early trade itself. The biggest fall was in Nifty PSU Bank, which came down 1.31 percent. If we talk about bullishness, then today Nifty IT sector has made a gain of 0.52 percent.
