Indian Start Ups Raised 11 Billion From July To September

News Synopsis

Indian Startups have reached new heights in three months from July to September this year. The Indian Startups have raised double the amount that they raised during the same period last year. Indian Startups have managed to raise a total of $11 billion, just in the three months. This is the first time when the total funds have come out to more than $10 billion in the time period of three months. Among all 16 startups BrowserStack, Credit, Bhartpe, Vedantu, Scholar, and UpGrad were also included. 

PwC India partner Amit Nawka has said that this can be the result of the digital adaptation by the companies that took place during the lockdown, last year. The new business models created by the individuals and companies have led the investors to take interest in this field and has led to an increase in transactions as well.

These startups include FinTech Space, Pine Labs, Byju, and many other startups. FinTech has seen an increase in funds to $4.6 billion in the first three quarters of 2021, Pine Labs has raised $700 million and Byju has another large financing of $300 million.
