Indian branches of US pizza company Papa John's to reopen

In Bengaluru, the first of these restaurants will open its doors in 2024. Although Papa John's has previously decided To enter, its locations were shut down in 2017.

Pizza business Papa John's originally partnered with PJP in 2005 when they were extending into the UAE, according to Amanda Clark, Chief International & Development Officer. In the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and Jordan, PJP manages more than 100 Papa John's locations. In 2024, it will also open the first Papa John's location in Iraq.

By 2040, Papa John's partner FountainVest Partners anticipates opening around 1,750 additional Papa John's locations in China.
