News Synopsis

PM Gati Shakti: The plan is set to make China the number one economic power and to offer businesses from around the world a stable location in India and a wholesome manufacturing environment. India is moving towards becoming the first choice for investors across the world through the PM Modi Gatishakti Mission costing $13 trillion. With this, India is ready to grab this tag from China, the current stronghold of design, production, etc.

According to a recent interview with Amrit Lal Meena, Special Secretary, Logistics in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the government is trying to carry out the PM Gatishakti Mission without delay or cost overruns. We aim to soon see India as a trusted destination for companies across the world. Being the world's largest democracy, companies have far more trust in India. Transparent policies will work to increase this further.

An affordable labor force is a prerequisite for this, which is available in abundance in India. Once companies start coming, they will get used to it fast due to the facilities available here. After the sequence starts, the queue of companies setting up factories will get longer.

The nation's infrastructure projects ran into a number of obstacles. Some of these were running late, while one in four were moving towards spending more than their estimated budget. Prime Minister Narendra Modi took the help of technology to overcome these problems. He believes that continuous solution to problems is possible only through technology.

The Modi government is creating a digital platform by merging 16 ministries. This digital portal will provide investors and companies with all the facilities and solutions to their problems in one place for easy project design, seamless approval, and cost estimation.
