India’s Agricultural and Processed Food Products Exports Increased by 13%

According to the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the export of agricultural and processed food products has increased more than 13 percent in the first eight months of this fiscal year. The export of these products increased from USD 11,671 million in April-November 2020-21 to USD 13,261 million in April-November 2021-22. 

The export of meat, poultry products, and dairy also increased by 12 percent and the export of fruits and vegetables also increased by 12 percent in the time period of April to November 2021. The export of cashew also saw a rise. However, the exports of oil meals declined during April-November 2021-22 as compared to April-November 2020-21
