Deepak Chahar also did not allow Tristan Stubbs to open the account in the next over and got caught out.

This was followed by a 33-run partnership of 33 balls for the sixth wicket between Wayne Parnell and Markram. Markram was dismissed for 25 runs in 24 balls. Maharaj and Parnell shared 26 runs in 47 balls for the seventh wicket. After that, the pair of Maharaj and Rabada got quick runs. Both of them added 33 runs in 20 balls for the eighth wicket.
