News Synopsis

Many things have slowed down during the crypto winter, but American cryptocurrency investors have not. The number of investors in cryptocurrencies has increased steadily in the United States US during the past two years, more than double. This is true despite the ongoing economic instability, stringent laws, and impending recession. Hence demonstrating that there is still a strong belief in the future of cryptocurrencies.

Finbold reports that despite the bad market, the percentage of Americans who have invested in cryptocurrencies has climbed by 125% since 2020. Only 8% of US people had cryptocurrency investments at the time; this number has since risen to 18%. This is a respectable amount for adoption in two years. Additionally, the study reveals that even more Americans intend to invest in cryptocurrencies soon. Additionally, this figure rose from 11% in 2020 to 15% in 2022 (a 36.36% rise).

This bear market is similar to others that we have experienced in the past. Yes, there has been a significant price crash, but aside from that, adoption, advancements, and institutional investments have not slowed pace. We are making gradual progress in this weak market while long-term investors continue to hold on to their currencies. The year 2022 is almost over, and the window for the subsequent halving is closing fast. This can be one of the factors contributing to investors' disregard for the bear market.
