ID Fresh Offers Stock Options to Another 27 Employees

News Synopsis

ID Fresh, a locally grown fresh food brand, announced its seventh round of employee stock option plan (ESOP) tranches for 27 employees on Thursday. In the last six years, the company has granted ESOPs worth 300 crore.
According to the company, these ESOPs have been distributed across functions and job roles. Almost half of them are given to junior management, which also includes service personnel.
"Our aspiration is to help create a minimum of 100 crorepatis in the next three years by offering high-value shares at Rs 10/share, attracting best talent from the market, and retaining/rewarding the existing ones," said PC Musthafa, co-founder and CEO of iD Fresh Food.

ID Fresh Food is a Bengaluru-based company that sells food products such as idly and dosa batter, parotas, chapatis, curd, and paneer in over 45 cities across India, the United States, and the United Arab Emirates. According to the company, it produces 89,000 kgs of idly/dosa batter per day. In India, the brand is available in over 30,000 outlets.
Premji Invest, NewQuest Capital Partners, and Sequoia Capital have all invested in the company, which has raised nearly $100 million to date. According to media reports, it is worth more than $260 million.
