News Synopsis

This year in the Tokyo OlympicS, India won 7 medals in total. But people were most excited when Neeraj Chopra won the gold in javelin throw. Whole country was celebrating the second gold of India in the Olympics. Everyone was busy congratulating the winners. Finally, the hard work of years paid off and Neeraj Chopra got what he deserved.
The athletes all over the world prepare for the olympics. And when they get the recognition they are encouraged to give their best. Along with that they inspire the younger generation. But there are athletes, who even after having the achievements that deserve so much more than just recognition, never get it. They are just forgotten after some time.
India has no shortage of athletes and all that is needed is just a little bit of encouragement and maybe one day India will also be able to perform so much better at national and international sports events.
The Prime Minister of India, Mr. Narendra Modi also invited the whole Olympic Contingent at Red Fort on Independence Day. It was the first time when Olympic Contingent were invited to the Red Fort. It’s also a way to inspire the next generation. And along with that we need to cheer up for all the athletes that represent India.
