HMD Global to export ‘Made in India’ phones

HMD Global, the company that sells the Nokia mobile phones, has started exporting its Made in India phones to the UAE market. The Vice President of HMD Global has said that Nokia 105 will be the first device that will be exported. Nokia 105 is the number one selling feature phone in India and globally.

He also said that the manufacturing of these devices was being manufactured in India and was sold in the Indian market as well, but now they have decided to start exporting these devices. The UAE will be the first country where these devices will be exported. 

The company has become number one in terms of value in feature phones not only in India but in Asia Pacific, Africa, MENA, and Latin America as well. HMD Global is working with ODM (original design manufacturer) and EMS (electronic manufacturing solution) to meet the demand for feature phones and smartphones in India.
